After-School Programs
We work with middle and high school students after school, on weekends, during school vacations, and/or during summer break at youth development agencies or other non-profit organizations. These intensive enrichment opportunities are designed to provide youth the same high-quality programming we offer in schools, but with greater scheduling flexibility. We can provide our 20 hours of writing workshop programming in a seven-, 10-, or 14-day residency. This programming provides youths a fun and challenging progressive series of writing exercises, theater games, and group interaction that result in the creation of one-act plays. These plays are presented in professionally staged readings in the community, providing young writers a forum and an immediate public acknowledgement of their hard work and accomplishments.
