Mentor Orientation

Our mentors are professional artists and college and university students preparing to enter the field. We provide one-, two-, and three-day mentor orientations for participating artists and adult students. These workshops introduce mentors to this unique playwriting process.

Workshops can be sponsored by university theater and writing programs, Native Studies departments, professional and community theaters, writers’ retreats, public libraries, museums and cultural centers, and other non-profit organizations.

Thomas Dean Kellogg has provided mentor orientations at locations including the University of Idaho, Portland State University (OR), the University of Portland (OR), American Conservatory Theater (San Francisco), the Autry National Center (Los Angeles), and NAYA Family Center (Portland, OR).
