We are thrilled by the steady growth and development of the Mentor Artist Playwrights Project in the communities where we have been working for some time now. The Young Native Playwrights Initiative currently involves:

The Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) inPortland, Oregon,

The Coeur D’ Alene Reservation in Northern Idaho

The Nez Perce Reservation in North Central Idaho,

The Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC) of Anchorage,Alaska

From Where We Speak - Urban Ink Productions, Kuper  and Galiano Islands (of the Gulf Islands chain near Vancouver British Columbia)

The American Indian Child Resource Center (AICRC) in Oakland, California.

We are working with each of our community partners to bring exciting new mentored theatre arts based programming to our Native Youth. From this work, of course, we will continue to bring these powerful voices out into community.

See you soon we hope!
