Public Speaking

Master Artist Thomas Dean Kellogg is available to speak to a group about his unique, effective method and 14 years of experience working with marginalized and vulnerable youth nationally and internationally.

Tom has designed and run programs for gang-affected youth at the Virginia Avenue Project in Santa Monica, CA; for at-risk youth in group homes, lock down facilities, halfway houses, teen pregnancy centers, and alternative schools for the Haven Afield Program of the Haven Project in Portland, OR; for incarcerated and transitioning youth as a co-founder of Each One, Reach One in the greater San Francisco Bay area; and
for Native American youth from the Southern California Indian Center (Los Angeles, CA), the Coeur d’Alene Tribal School (DeSmet, ID), and the Native American Youth and Family Center (Portland, OR).  Tom has worked as a guest artist/workshop leader for the International School Theatre Association in Hungary, Spain, England, Russia, and Turkey.

Tom also gives demonstration lectures/workshops on his work with his professional theatre company, fofo. He has been a guest artist/presenter/lecturer at the 2006 American Alliance for Theater and Education Conference (Washington, DC), Manhattanville College (New York City), the 2005 Idaho Indian Educators’ Conference (Coeur d’Alene Reservation), the Institute of American Indian Arts (Santa Fe, NM), Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab West (Los Angeles), and the Center Theater Group Mark Taper Forum (Los Angeles).
