Coeur D' Alene Reservation
Our longest running collaboration. Almost 20 years ago, Artistic Director Thomas Dean Kellogg visited the Coeur D’ Alene Reservation with the hopes of developing a mentored playwriting program. Thanks to Dr. Chris Meyer, the CD’A Tribe Department of Education, and the Tribal Council, our work is still going strong! This year MAPP engages with their Summer Youth Internship Program exploring the tribe’s environmental work and the history of the Hangman Creek Watershed, as taught by Tribal Elders. The 2022 program is unique, as it spans over four weeks and combines our online and in-person workshops.
