Duck Valley, Shoshone – Paiute Reservation
We are currently raising funds for a fall workshop for the youth at the Owyhee Combined school on the Shoshone- Paiute Reservation in Duck Valley. Below is a video of our recent visit and more about the Duck Valley Reservation.
Mentor Artists -MAPP has conducted six years of programming with the residents of the Duck Valley Shoshone-Pauite Reservation, a community in a remote region straddling Idaho and Nevada. The program has been funded by the Shoshone Paiute Tribe, the Owyhee School District, and The Kessler Keener Foundation. Unlike any of our previous programs, we have had the opportunity to work hand in hand with all students K-12 at the Owyhee school, many of whom also participate in the Trio Upward Bound Summer Program in Boise, Idaho. If you would like to contribute directly to the programs in Duck Valley, please do so below or spread the word by sharing the link to this page.

“Thank you so much for visiting Owyhee. We look forward to your visit every year and missed it during COVID. It is appreciated that you've made it a point to circle back to us. Looking forward to seeing you again in the fall,”
